Thank You For Being There

As darkness falls, I think of you.
In the morning sun, I dream of you.
My heart stays beating because you care.
My demons stay away because you're there.
I look at you, and my heart beast fast.
I look away, and time takes forever.
Passing you makes me think.
Talking to you makes me believe.
Holding your hand makes me smile.
Laying with you makes the day worthwhile.
I shed tears of joy when you're around.
I shed tears of pain when you are not.
Listening to your heart calms me.
Kissing you soothes me.
Just your touch can keep me relaxed.
